Fried rice is probably one of my favorite meal to cook and eat, it’s hassle free & delicious! The star of this Sriracha fried rice is definitely the sauce that really makes it shine so the luxury here is you can add whatever type of proteins and veggies you like (it’s a perfect fridge clearing meal).
Ingredients:Â
Cooked rice 2 cups
Chinese sausage (1)
Eggs (2)
Garlic (3 cloves)
Sriracha Chilli sauce (3 tablespoons)
Cooking Soy sauce (3 tablespoons)
Green Onions (for garnish)
Cilantro (for garnish)
Directions
Mince garlic, slice chinese sausage, scramble eggs (season with fish sauce if you want).
Mix equal parts Sriracha chilli sauce & cooking soy sauce together.Â
Heat up neutral cooking oil (im using avocado oil) in a pan or wok if you have one. Brown the garlic then add the sausages in, toss it a few times then add in the rice & un-clump the rice.Â
Once the rice is all separated and it looks like its getting mixed nicely, move the rice to one side of the pan and pour in the eggs.Â
DO NOT mix the eggs in with the rice right away. Wait for it to cook then slowly add it in the rice, if you mix the eggs and rice right away you will have soggy fried rice.Â
Give the rice a few tosses then add the sauce and mix it in well! Mix it until there’s no white rice left.Â
Plate, garnish with cilantro, onions & a sunny side upÂ
Enjoy (:Â
